Wanna know something I’m really good at? Making a fool of myself in public to get kids laughing during photo sessions! At some point during almost all of my photo sessions I feel the need to apologize to the adults around.

And something I’m really bad at? Waiting. Seriously, if I have a secret to keep, I’m dying every second just wishing I could let the cat out of the bag already (ask me about the time I planned a surprise party – I almost blew my own surprise at least a dozen times). And if I know you have a secret, I am almost certainly going to harass you about it, because I just don’t have it in me to wait!

Sometimes while I sit and wait in traffic I even think about the total amount of time in my life I’ll spend waiting in the car. If just 8.5 minutes a day are spent waiting in traffic, that’s an hour a week. At an hour a week for fifty years spent driving, 2,600 hours total have been spent waiting in the car. That’s over 108 days of waiting in traffic. That’s totally crazy, right?!

So, in a little over two months I get to marry my best friend, and as you may have guessed, I can’t wait! We just celebrated ten years of dating last week, and for most of those ten years I have daydreamed about one day being Christina Mize!

While I still have to wait two more months to officially be Christina Mize, there’s no actual reason to have to wait two more months to launch my new business (and I’m all about NOT waiting when given the opportunity).

So without further ado, I am absolutely ecstatic to announce the opening of Christina Mize Photography! I’m so glad you’re here, let’s get this party started!
